Terms of Service

1. The marketplace

Connect Local is a marketplace that helps customers find and book independent service providers. Providers on the platform are not employees of Connect Local. We are not a party to the service contract between customer and provider.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Connect Local. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account. Provider accounts must accurately represent the person and business behind them.

3. Bookings & payments

Booking requests are proposals — providers accept or decline. Payment is only processed after acceptance and completion (once payments are enabled). Cancellations must be made through the platform.

4. Provider conduct

Providers must hold any licenses their trade requires, carry appropriate insurance, and follow all local laws. Misrepresentation, discrimination, or unsafe conduct results in removal.

5. Prohibited use

You may not use Connect Local for illegal services, harassment, spam, scraping, or attempts to bypass our verification or payment systems.

6. Liability

Connect Local provides the marketplace "as is." We are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any service performed by a provider. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the prior 12 months.
