Provider Agreement

You provide services as an independent business, not as an employee, partner or agent of Connect Local. You control how, when and with what tools you work, and you are responsible for your own taxes, statutory contributions and business registration.

• Verify your email address and complete your profile (photo, bio, service area, experience).
• Upload a valid national ID and any trade certificates required for your category.
• Your listing activates automatically once verification and profile completion are done.
• We may re-verify at any time and suspend listings pending checks.

• Respond to booking requests within 24 hours.
• Arrive at the agreed time or communicate delays immediately.
• Perform work to a competent professional standard and honour reasonable rework.
• Maintain any licences and insurance your trade requires.

• You set your own quotes; quotes must be complete and include callout costs.
• Connect Local deducts a platform commission from each released booking.
• Released funds appear in your wallet as available balance.
• Payout requests are processed to your nominated M-Pesa destination.
• Fraudulent bookings or chargebacks may be reversed against your wallet.

Diverting a customer you met on Connect Local to an off-platform payment removes their protection and breaches this agreement. Repeat circumvention results in permanent removal and forfeiture of pending commission-bearing balances.

You are solely responsible for damage, injury or loss arising from your work. You agree to indemnify Connect Local against claims arising from services you perform. We strongly recommend public liability insurance appropriate to your trade.

You may deactivate your listing at any time; outstanding bookings must be completed or properly cancelled first. We may suspend or terminate a provider account for safety risks, fraud, repeated poor performance, or breach of these terms.
