Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets the technical and content boundaries for using Connect Local Africa. It applies to everyone — customers, providers and anyone accessing our public pages or APIs.

01Permitted use

You may use Connect Local to browse providers, request and manage bookings, pay for services, list your own services, and communicate with the other party to a booking.


02Prohibited technical activity

  • Scraping, crawling or bulk-extracting provider data.
  • Bots, scripted booking spam, or bypassing rate limits.
  • Reverse engineering, probing or attacking our infrastructure.
  • Uploading malware, or attempting to access another user's account or data.

03Prohibited content

  • Illegal, violent, sexually explicit or hateful material.
  • Other people's personal data posted without consent.
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, pyramid or referral abuse.
  • Misleading claims about qualifications, licences or insurance.

04Responsible security research

We welcome good-faith vulnerability reports. Do not access other users' data, degrade service, or publish findings before we respond. Email supportconnectlocalafrica@gmail.com with the subject “Security”. We acknowledge within 3 business days.


05Consequences

Breaching this policy can result in rate limiting, suspension, permanent termination, forfeiture of pending payouts where fraud is involved, and referral to law enforcement.
